The New York City contingent of the WIT team all gathered at MetLife Stadium on Sunday for the NHL’s annual Stadium Series showcase.
Vaidhy, Stephi, Cali, Zach, Brandon and Julian bundled up and went to the Meadowlands to watch the New York Rangers take on the New York Islanders in a cross-city match-up.
Outside. On a football field.
After the Islanders opened up a big lead, the Rangers were able to overcome a 5-3 deficit with just five minutes left in regulation. A goal 10 seconds into overtime launched the largely Rangers contingent of 79,690 fans into delirium.

Those were some of the ways that WIT team members described their Sunday afternoons. Of course, it was that much better to experience it with your WIT teammates.
