
Last week, WIT sponsored a virtual event hosted by Marketing Brew. The 30 minute session brought together brand marketing leaders shaping the future of engagement, brand partnerships, and gamified marketing. With incredible insights from the Washington Spirit, OLIPOP, and our very own Vaidhy Murti, attendees left informed, inspired and ready to reassess their own audience engagement and customer acquisition strategies.
The Washington Spirit shared how they’re blending entertainment with sports while listening closely to fan preferences, creating tailored gameday experiences, and celebrating the global inspiration of soccer. They highlighted community initiatives and strategies that keep fans engaged both on and off the pitch.
OLIPOP showcased creative fan touchpoints - from themed quizzes to large-scale sampling - that naturally resonate with family-oriented audiences, amplifying the brand authentically through innovative, engaging experiences.
Vaidhy Murti closed the event with dynamic case studies on gamification, demonstrating how interactive experiences outperform traditional marketing tactics. He demonstrated that by leveraging instant gratification mechanics and playful engagement within strategy, brands can 10x their lead generation, improve repeat engagement and create deeper emotional connections.
